Epsilon Range

Mono’s experience, combined with an effective programme of customer feedback, has resulted in a range that is more compact than its predecessor - the existing E range - whilst retaining its characteristics of reliability, efficiency and low operating costs. The decision on the part of the manufacturer to share componentry with its popular Mono Compact C Range will also help customers and stockists to reduce their inventory of replacement parts.

The new bloc construction of the Epsilon range, which is available in a choice of cast iron or stainless steel materials, has reduced overall dimensions and can offer benefits when space restrictions apply.  Other significant features of the range are the incorporation of Mono’s Flexishaft® drive transmission and the new Flexishaft drive clamp, which makes assembly straightforward and rapid.  A one-piece sleeve protects and seals the drive joint assembly from contamination and the option of an inspection cover permits removal of rags when this is an issue.

For 36 years, the Flexishaft has proved its worth in many Mono applications where it reduces cost by eliminating the need for a double universal joint. With no wearing parts, the Flexishaft offers greater lifetime cost savings over conventional drive train designs and extends intervals between routine maintenance.  As such, Mono is now offering a ten year warranty on the Flexishaft.

“Epsilon has been developed thanks to a combination of careful research and many years experience of Mono pumps operating in various industries,” commented marketing manager Nichola Vasconcellos. “Reliability, efficiency and value for money are critical to our customers, but so is simplicity. When the opportunity to re-design a popular pump range presented itself, we were determined to make the new Epsilon even easier to install and maintain.”

The range has been designed to suit a wide variety of markets: water & wastewater, food & beverage, pulp & paper, chemical & pharmaceutical, mining & mineral, oil & gas and agriculture.
